Vermont Regional Center to appeal closure — receiver wants it to stay open to help investors get Green Cards

The Vermont Regional Center (VRC) is expected to file a motion today, Oct 25, to appeal the latest ruling to shut it down. The state wants a gradual wind-down to help up to 10 EB-5 investors who do not have enough jobs created. The receiver would invest more money into job creation — but only if the regional center can stay open. In addition, VRC termination would be a “material change” and a further problem for investors without Green Cards.
