After serving prison term, former Jay Peak president is helping the receiver try to sell the property

Bill Stenger, the former president of Jay Peak Resort, the center of the biggest EB-5 fraud of all time, is now assisting the court-appointed receiver, Michael Goldberg in his bid to sell the property for the most money possible. After serving about half of his 18-month prison term, Stenger is helping to follow up on any interest from potential buyers. Despite Stenger’s role in the fraud, Goldberg has used his assistance in the past and considers the former Jay Peak exec “completely trustworthy.” Stenger claims he wants to do what he can to assist the sale and to help the community.
