New York grocery store company wants EB-5 investor suit thrown out

A grocery store company named in a lawsuit by a disgruntled EB-5 investor has filed a motion to dismiss the suit. The investor, who had his petition denied, filed a lawsuit against the grocer and the attorney who represented both parties. Although the investor signed a conflict of interest waiver after making his investment, the suit claims it was a “retroactive and disingenuous” attempt to dismiss the conflict.
