Mulvaney tells private gathering that Trump admin is ‘desperate for more immigrants’

Mick Mulvaney, as acting White House chief of staff, told a private gathering in England that the Trump administration needs more people to “fuel the economic growth that we’ve had in our nation over the last four years. We need more immigrants.” Though such comments seem counter to many of Trump’s immigration sound bites, they are said to reflect conventional Republican views of skilled immigrants.
