In a September 6 court declaration, the agency claimed it will use all 281,507 employment-based visas available for FY 2022 by the end of September, the end of the fiscal year. This number was roughly double the standard yearly allocation of employment-based visas. EB-5 is given 7.1% of the total. If almost 20,000 EB-5 visa were used before the deadline, this would be significant news indeed.
