The immigration service has issued an alert that it will reject the following forms received on or after July 1, 2021: I-526, Immigrant Petition by Alien Investor; I-924, Application for Regional Center Designation; and I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Of note, this policy is “until further notice” — which is important as many EB-5 stakeholders believe the lapse is temporary and an extension is imminent.
