U.S. national unemployment rate falls; EB-5 TEA threshold drops to 5%

The Census Bureau published the 2018-2022 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates. The national unemployment rate has dropped to 3.3%. To qualify as a high-unemployment target employment area (TEA), eligible census tracts must be not less than 150% of the national unemployment rate; thus, the new TEA high-unemployment threshold is 5%.
