Spending bill adds provision to rollover unused visas — including EB-5

EB-5 News

A provision from U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) was added to the Homeland Security Spending bill. Meng’s measures would allow unused EB-5 visas allocated in fiscal years 2020 and 2021 to continue to be available until they are used. Meng sees her provision as being a response to Donald Trump’s “cruel and destructive policies that kicked immigrants to the curb.”
