Q1 FY 2023 processing stats: I-526 filings surge, processing totals dip slightly

In FY 2023 Q1, USCIS received the highest number of I-526/I526E petitions since the reactivation of the Regional Center Program last year: 556. The previous two quarters saw just 188 and 32 filings, respectively, indicating interest in EB-5 is growing. After three months of steady processing improvement, the latest processing numbers dipped slightly to 480 petitions adjudicated; the prior four quarters saw 535, 455, 152, and 61 petitions processed, respectively. The approval rate in FY 2023 Q1 increased to 57% after a poor 48% approval rate in the previous quarter.
