Investors in foreclosed Hawaii EB-5 project forced to dismiss suit and go to arbitration

24 Chinese investors who had invested in what was planned to be a Hawaii hotel-condo resort have had to drop their lawsuit against the developer; as per a clause in the operating agreement, they must now use arbitration to settle their complaint. The investors were told the project received full financing in 2021; in reality, the developers lost the property to foreclosure in in 2019.
