Jay Peak’s Stenger starts prison term, says he regrets not paying more attention to EB-5 fraud

Former Jay Peak president, Bill Stenger, 73, has just started an 18-month prison sentence for his role in the largest EB-5 fraud of all time. While not accused of using investor capital for his own use, he still transferred funds to developer Ariel Quiros and knew about the fraud Quiros was committing. “I should have paid more attention to it. I thought I could trust him, and I was wrong."
