Disbarred lawyer hit with new investor EB-5 fraud lawsuit

Victoria Chan, a former immigration lawyer who was disbarred earlier this year for admitting to running a $50 million EB-5 scam, faces a new lawsuit from four Chinese investors who claim their investment capital was spent by Chan on personal expenses like vehicles and real estate. In a prior lawsuit, Chan was ordered to pay more than $32 million in restitution, and to forfeit eight properties worth almost $25 million.
