Concurrent filing refers to the process of submitting an investor's I-526 petition and I-485 application for adjustment of status together. This allows an investor to receive conditional permanent residency in the U.S., rather than waiting for the I-526 approval first and then applying for adjustment of status.
Once the I-485 application is filed, you can remain in the US while the application is pending. However, you must maintain your nonimmigrant status until your application is approved. If your nonimmigrant status expires while your I-485 is pending, you may need to leave the US and wait for your application to be processed from your home country.
After you file the I-485 application, the work authorization will allow you to work in the US, and the travel authorization will allow you to travel outside of the US and return while your application is pending.
