IIUSA met with the agency ombudsman on September 12. The trade organization for the Regional Center Program says USCIS "is failing to meet its mandate” of correctly implementing the Reform and Integrity Act (RIA) and administering the program. IIUSA’s primary request is to have regular working meetings with the Immigration Service, with a focus on RIA implementation. Industry insiders say the first meeting was very general but went better than expected. A follow-up meeting with the ombudsman may happen in October.
