The U.S. has 58 of the top 200 educational institutions in the world — more than any other country. With more Indian students moving overseas, EB-5 presents many benefits, starting with easier admission. U.S. residents also pay far lower tuition. For example, residents pay about $30,000 a year to attend UCLA, while international students pay $70,000. Green Card holders have easier access to internships than international students, and this experience makes them more employable. Finally, graduates with Green Cards have more employment options than students who are limited to H1-B sponsors, which gives them greater negotiation power.
