The minimum investment amount is currently $900,000 if located in a high unemployment or rural area, though these are readily available in today's market. The investment should have a rate of return commensurate with the risk, but will not usually offer market rates as EB-5 program costs and risks are high to the developer. Investments will probably last 5-7 years.
Other costs include an immigration lawyer ($15,000-$25,000), administration fees paid to the Manager of the investment (sometimes referred to as the issuer) of ($60,000-$90,000) and filing fees of under $5,000.
