USCIS: The Agency that administers the EB-5 program

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is the government agency that administers the EB-5 Program. This includes establishing guidelines and monitoring the compliance of the various entities involved with the program including EB-5 regional centers, new commercial enterprises, job-creating entities, industry professionals, and investors.

In July 2021, the U.S. Senate confirmed Ur Jaddou as the director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Jaddou has stated that more efficient processing, a long-standing EB-5 issue, is one of her goals. “USCIS must process applications fairly, efficiently, and in a humane manner; be accessible, transparent, and accountable,” she declared.
