Form I-924: Regional Center Application pre-RIA
Prior to the enactment of the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 (RIA), Form I-924 was the application used to request approval for a regional center designation.
The I-924 application was also the form used by approved regional centers to amend their original designation or for exemplar pre-approval for an investment project.
After the enactment of the RIA, Form I-924 was replaced by I-956, which is the Application for Regional Center Designation.
The requirements for Form I-924 included:
A detailed business plan that describes the Regional Center's activities and how it will promote economic growth and create at least 10 jobs per EB-5 investor.
Evidence of the Regional Center's legal existence, such as articles of incorporation or partnership agreement.
A description of the geographic area that the Regional Center will serve and how it will promote economic growth in the area.
A filing fee of $17,795.
