EB-5 predictions: less than half of projects will be TEA, Latin America is the next big player

Immigration lawyer and Cornell Law professor Stephen Yale-Loehr expects that less than half of all EB-5 investment projects will be meet new TEA qualifications. And will new regs mean a shift in EB-5 investor demographics? Immigration attorney Julian Montero thinks so and says, “Latin American capital is going to be the biggest part of the pie going forward” as those investors seek a higher ROI. He also believes South Florida will be the destination for much of that capital.
