IIUSA files lawsuit against DHS & USCIS over failure to provide I-526 training update docs

Over the last three years, under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the national not-for-profit association for EB-5 has made over 80 requests for documents from USCIS regarding training updates for I-526 adjudicators and economists. The new industry regulations give IIUSA, they claim, a “compelling need” to review those documents. FOIA regulations dictate an agency must respond within 20 days to an information request. Apparently, DHS has failed to respond to all such IIUSA requests.
